Media Contact: Curtis T. Hill, Jr. (574) 296-1888

“Teaming up for Kids, Law Enforcement, Community, Schools”, a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, is a community charity event that will be held at Concord High School on December 27th beginning at 1:00 p.m. This year’s event provides a ways for the local community, schools, and law enforcement families to celebrate the holidays together.

The tournament is organized by the Concord Developmental Basketball League (CDBL). Prosecuting Attorney Curtis T. Hill, Jr. will be the featured speaker and present awards. Although the tournament will be held at Concord High School, the entire community is invited to participate. Teams will be comprised of 3-4 players with a $30 registration fee. General admission is $5 per person or $10 per family. Corporate sponsorship opportunities are still available. Funds raised during the event will support CDBL boys and girls scholarships for Concord High School Seniors.

The event’s Executive Board includes Curtis T. Hill, Jr., Elkhart County Prosecuting Attorney; Mr. Wayne Stubbs, Superintendent of Concord Community Schools; Mr. Mike Schoeffler, President of the CDBL; and Mr. Aaron Zou, Event Chairperson. More information on tournament registration and rules can be found online at http://cdblbasketball.weebly.com/3-on-3.html.

I encourage all Elkhart County families to come out to this event to recognize our law enforcement officers and their families for their efforts and work in our local community. Enjoy the game, food and family time at Concord High School.
